Episode #4 - Todd On Air Podcast

Country singer and Louisiana native, Sammy Kershaw makes a stop by the studios.  After running for Lt Gov. of Louisiana in 2007 and going through some personal hardships, Sammy is back with new music and a little something to make your food a taste better.  Sammy scored some points and brought us some Mardi Gras King Cake from Meche's in Broussard, LA.... and if you ever want to get Sammy started, talk about duck hunting, football or driving over the speed limit.  Haha!   The podcast is about 15 minutes, but we talked off mic for about 45 minutes.  Sammy is a great fella and was a ton of fun!  Go see one of his shows and get his new CD "Better Than I Used To Be" coming out soon.

Praying for Haiti

A 7.0 earthquake followed by a 5.9, then a 5.0 hit Haiti today. A country and people that already have a tough time just surviving without a natural disaster. It is the poorest country in the western hemisphere, and I had an opportunity to go to Haiti in April 2009.  I've seen first hand how hard it is to just stay alive in Haiti.  Read my story of the trip and see the pictures... then think about Haiti after a devastating earthquake.  You'll know just how much trouble Haiti will be in, in the coming months.
