In between pay periods, a little low on the dough? I got a great place to unwind and it won't cost you a thing. Well, unless you want to bring some bread with you... It's the Duck Pond Park on East Kings in Shreveport.This is exactly what we did this Sunday. We loaded up the boys in the car, grabbed the loaf of bread that was getting ready to expire and made our first visit to the famous duck pond. The ducks immediately saw the bread and began to hunt us down for some free grub. The boys loved it!
I hit a geocache nearby and played for the next hour with the boys at the playground area!

The duck pond was great this weekend. It's always nice to see the kids having fun and it not cost us anything! Now the museum was another subject...
Ummm... yeah. RW Norton Art Gallery is free. But, not a place for little ones. Lesson learned on that one... TRUST ME!
I have alway loved the duck pond...great memories for me as a kid. Just be careful of teh geese there...they will attack for bread. My advice? Wear a cup...that is how they got daddy.
