Clicking through and checking out some music videos today, I came across Joe Nichols' "The Shape I'm In." I press play, and see a familiar face on my screen... I'm thinking, "Hey, I know that fella." It's Marcus Luttrell! We grew up in the same neighborhood in Willis, Texas during my jr. high and high school years. I lost touch with Marcus, but knew he went on to do great things with the Navy SEALs and kept up with him through the grapevine of friends. He's retired from service now, but you'll see him on book tours, speaking engagements, the movie coming up soon about his time serving our country in Iraq and Afghanistan...oh! And music videos too.
