Riding off into the sunset...

Tonight I'm taking some time off for a couple of days to recharge. Since I've been moving around so much in the past 12 months, the end result is that I haven't taken any vacation time in nearly two years! I know, it's my fault, but I am still fried from the experience!

In other news, It snowed in Houston today... that's right Houston! James Anthony came in and told me about it so, I immediately called my Dad up and the first thing he told me was that it was snowing hard right now. I couldn't believe it! He was driving down the road at the time and said the snow was starting to slow down traffic. I guess so! It only snows once about every 2 to 3 years...maybe.

Back on the blog Monday!

Not your typical Christmas tune.

Thanks to my buddy Leslie for jogging my memory.  One of my favorite Christmas tunes is "Merry Christmas From The Family" from Robert Earl Keen .  Christmas, Texas style!  You may have heard the Montgomery Gentry version of this song.  The REK version is the original and, in my humble opinion, the best.  So, get your celery and can of fake snow and enjoy!
